2A: Study how rain flows across your site

 

Draw a simple map of your site in the space below. Go out with some good rain gear and visit your site while it's raining. Draw with chalk on the ground to show the direction that rain is flowing. Draw around each puddle with chalk. Put pennies in each puddle to see how deep each one is. Next to each puddle write in chalk how many pennies deep it is. Transfer your chalk drawings to your maps.
