There's something at Open Road Park for everyone.

Here are some ways to involve yourself with the park.

  Volunteer
     On Saturdays we maintain and continue to build the Park. If you're interested in helping, please come to the Park
     anytime between 12 and 3 pm. Click here for a tentative work schedule for the upcoming weeks.
     We're also planning long term projects that may begin in several months.  

  Gardening
     We have limited numbers of planter beds, which are sectioned and available for use at no charge. We request that 
     everyone refrain from using chemical fertilizers at the garden. Please contact us if you're interested in a gardening
     plot.

  Classes at the Garden
     Teachers, bring your classes to the garden. There are many opportunities for educational and recreational activities 
     among the free resources there. Please contact us if you need suggestions for activities.
     If you're interested in using the field or greenhouse to hold a class, please contact us. Martial art instructors have 
     used the lawn for demonstrations and classes. 

  Meeting Space
     We welcome groups to use the garden to hold their meetings. There is no charge if the meeting is held 
     during our open hours. Click here for more information and to sign up.

  Art Sale
     On the last Saturday of each month we hold an art sale at the garden. There is no charge for attending or selling 
     art, and all are welcome. The sale starts at noon.

  After School Programs and Free Movies
     Please visit programs for details. 

  Perform
     Artists, contribute your talents at our events. We're planning fundraisers with musical performances. Please contact
     us for more information. 
    
  Funding
     If you're interested in making a financial contribution or suggesting potential avenues for funds that we can pursue, 
     please contact us. We're currently seeking request for proposals to do solar energy projects at the garden.
